Paolo Buffa Kingwood, Rosewood Banded and Marquetry Inlaid Tremau Bureau Bookcase produced by Fratelli Lietti, Italy circa 1940, the arched broken pediment with brass acorn finial, over two engrave glazed doors, enclosing two internal glass shelves, the lower section with fall front, single glass shelf and mirror backed within, over two cupboard doors enclosing six drawers, all raised on tall and elegant tapered ebonised legs ending with brass sabots, comes with three original working keys with tassels.
Condition: Very good original condition with no weakness to the joints, no past or present woodworm, all drawers are clean with no odours or smells, the drawers open and close with ease, very minor nibbles, please note this bureau is extremely tall and heavy and will require two very strong people to move into place, the legs are removable allowing access through doorways easier, comes with three original working keys.
