A magnificent 19th century Continental ‘Blonde’ Pine Armoire Wardrobe made in Denmark circa 1880, the canted top over a false single drawer above a large single panelled door with deep interior enclosing hanging rail over a single large pull out drawer, raised on bun feet, made from solid pine, comes with one original working key with tassel, this multi functional piece of furniture was designed to look like a “ 'Secrétaire à Abattant’ or drop leaf desk, disguising the fact it is in fact a wardrobe thus enabling it to be used either in a hallway as hanging cupboard or in a bedroom as a wardrobe, a very unusual, practical and beautiful piece of furniture.

Condition report: Good antique condition with age related knocks, marks and wear, no signs of past or present woodworm, comes in sections for easy upstairs installation,, door opens and closes smoothly, no odours or smells, comes with original working key.
