Stunning 19th century solid Oak breakfront twin pedestal partners desk circa 1850, the deep rectangular top with a sumptuous olive green and gilt skived & tooled leather inset over three frieze drawers with one working key with silk tassel, over two double sided pedestals with carved fluted pilasters and a further six drawers all with original brass drop handles and brass Hobbs & Co lever locks, the drawers are lined in solid mahogany with dovetail joints, the opposing side of the desk has two storage cupboards to the pedestals with internal shelves, standing on four short turned tapered legs with brass castors.
