A magnificent early 20th century hand painted four fold brass studded leather screen depicting naval engagement scenes of a serious sea battle with galleon ships from opposing sides, each arch top panel painted and decorated to form extensive painted nautical scenes, wonderful rich patina, dark and moody, perfect.
Condition: The screen is offered in good original condition, aged beautifully with no tears or rips to the leather, the reverse side of the screen has minor scuff marks, there are no signs of past or present woodworm, the screen has a wonderful original patina that only time can bring.
