Alvar Aalto Model 402 Lounge Chair Finland circa 1930s

Early twentieth century Alvar Aalto Model 402 lounge chair circa Finland 1930s, this fabulous armchair is an original 402 Alvar Aalto and was produced by Finmar in Finland in the late1930s, the chair is made from bentwood birch and a dark petrol blue wool upholstery.

Condition: The chair is offered in excellent vintage condition with no weakness to the joints or splits to the frame, the cushions and material are in good condition with no tears or snags, the frame has age related marks adding to the overall beauty but these could quite easily be polished out to give a clean spotless frame but we prefer it as is, a true appreciating investment.
