Stunning large mid century Norwegian Brazilian rosewood coffee table by Torbjørn Afdal for Bruksbo circa 1960s. The rectangular top with wonderful figured Brazilian rosewood grain patterns, raised on four tapered legs, the legs are detachable and can be removed for ease of transport, a truly stunning piece  of furniture and extremely rare to find such a large and imposing coffee table of this quality and form,  Torbjørn Afdal was a renown Norwegian designer who worked with many design Norwegian and Danish companies but his key designs were with Bruksbo whom he had a long and lasting relationship with throughout the 60s and 70s.

Excellent condition with only minor wear.
