Fabulous mid twentieth century Pierre Jeanneret Model: PJ-040201 Daybed Chandigarh India Circa 1957-58, this resting bed also known as "Diwan" or "Daybed"  can also be used a large coffee table, made of solid teak, the rectangular top has been newly upholstered in a gorgeous mink coloured velvet material with elegant tan leather piping, the short inverted ‘V’ leg assembly are affixed beneath the body and made up of two signature "Compass" type flat profiled tapered and splayed legs, identification markings VCH/N to legs denoting designation, this daybed has been completely and professionally restored and newly upholstered in Chandigarh in accordance with original specification, as with all of our Pierre Jeanneret furniture this item will come with an extensive set of pre restoration images and a certificate of authenticity, we can also reupholster this piece in any material of your choice should this colour scheme not work for your current project, reserve now.
