Magnificent pair of mid century Pierre Jeanneret Model PJ-010401 ‘Cross Leg Armchairs’  Chandigarh India Circa 1956 -60, the chairs finished in solid teak, the seat and backrest both with hand braided cane work, the distinctive ”X" frame  legs also form armrests to the upper section and are united by a single stretcher to the underside of the seat, comes with two custom made cushions finished in Royal Blue with red piping. These items have been professionally and sympathetically restored in Chandigarh in accordance with original specification whilst retaining all of original patina, as with all of our Pierre Jeanneret furniture this item will come with an extensive set of pre restoration images and a certificate of authenticity, reserve now.
