Mid Century French Papasan Lounge Chairs Circa 1970
A stunning pair of large mid century French Papasan rattan and bamboo lounge chairs France circa 1970, these cultural icons from the swinging 60s have never really fallen out of style – the super comfortable papasan chair still holds decorative sway today, what we know as the "papasan chair" was widely used as a versatile and economical furniture staple in Thailand and the Philippines in the early twentieth century. The frames of the papasan chairs are crafted from real rattan and bamboo and come in two parts (the base and the seating bowl) and come with large cloud like cream tufted cushions, these chairs are lightweight but sturdy and will definitely be the best seats in the house, they are ideal for indoors or out and give a cool and relaxed vibe to any room, they are gorgeous to look and will always make a statement in any setting you put them in, we love them.
