A magnificent set of 19th century Portuguese solid brass butcher's scales circa 1890, this monumental et of scales comes complete with its original set of 14 graduating weights fitted to the base. The large antique bull's head that sits on top of the scales, supporting a beam and twin circular brass weighing pans hanging from chains.

Condition report: Excellent antique condition with age related knocks, marks and wear, wonderful patina.
