A magnificent and very rare set of six Howard & Sons solid Oak Gainsborough Library or Boardroom chairs dating to circa 1890, the chairs have recently been re upholstered in the finest deep bottle green leather with brass stud bound work, raised on turned legs, joined by H stretcher, each chair with makers stamp 'Howard & Sons Ltd Berners Street with serial number to each of the back legs, the chairs are supremely comfortable and offered in mint condition.
