Stunning pair of Voluptuous 'HM88 benches' by Chijoke Aguh for Hitch Mylius, United Kingdom circa 2015, of sculptural voluptuous form, the aeroply frames are upholstered in black wool and supported on elliptical steel feet finished in a silver epoxy coating.

The sculptural form of Chijioke Aguh’s ‘voluptuous bench’ combines a strong visual impact with practicality and comfort. The aeroply frame is upholstered in cmhr graded foams and supported on boomerang-shaped steel feet finished in a mid-grey powder coat.

About: Chijioke Aguh

Born in 1976, Chijioke Aguh studied furniture and product design at Middlesex and Southbank Universities and the Royal College of Art, London. Since graduating he has worked in a variety of disciplines including fashion, home accessories and furniture. His work was shortlisted for a Swarovski Design Award in 2002, and commended for the 2000 RSA Student Design Awards.
The HM88 ‘voluptuous bench’ was developed with Hitch Mylius in 2003 and was a finalist for the Best Furniture for Public Space in the FX International Design Awards.
