Early Twentieth Century School Cupboard
A magnificent early twentieth century solid pine school house cupboard, the rectangular corniced upper section over two panelled doors, the interior with shaped pelmet, divided in two section each with a single adjustable shelf and two drawers (total four drawers), the lower section again divided in two sections both with two adjustable shelves, all raised on a plinth base, would make an ideal pantry.
This item is in its original condition and as would be expected coming from a school has an aged and very used appearance with lots of marks showing its had a life, the right side of the cupboard has light staining which we like but could be easily removed, the left upper door has a white paint mark and the the right door has a cork notice board, could be painted if one wanted but we love it as it is, there are no signs of woodworm or odours, please note this is quite a heavy item and will require two fairly strong people to move, the cupboard splits in two making moving easier.
