Magnificent breakfront Apothecary Pharmacy beech display cabinet dating to circa 1920s, This piece is one of six similar pieces all from the same pharmacy, the upper section with a corniced top over six glazed cabinet doors with brass pull handles and locks, enclosing various shelves, over twelve small frieze drawers all with original brass cup handles with index card holders, the lower section with two double cupboards to the left and right sides with shelving within, sixteen large drawers to the centre each with original brass cup handles with index card holders all raised on a plinth base, all raised on a plinth base.
This piece is extremely large and will require at least four very strong people to move into place, the cabinet separates into two sections.
We have a further two large cabinets identical and the same size, two medium sized cabinets and single smaller cabinet, all from the same pharmacists, a total of six pieces are available.
Condition: The cabinet are offered in great vintage condition with various age related knocks, marks, scratches, paint marks and scuffs, the doors all open and close smoothly as do the drawers, the drawers open and close with ease, the shelves with marks and stains, no signs of past or present woodworms, no odours or smells, please note this is extremely heavy and will require four very strong people to move in to place.
