A beautiful large antique Napoleon III marble topped oak commode chest of drawers, circa 1870, this chest dates to the late 19th century from the French Parisian Napoleon III period, the elegant light grey marble top over two short drawers and three long drawers all  with brass escutcheons and elegant brass pull handles, shaped apron raised on carved feet, ideal for the lounge, hallway, bathroom or bedroom, a sublime statement piece in every way.

Offered in good antique condition with age related wear, the marble top is in tact with no cracks or repairs, all drawers open and close smoothly, no odours or smells, no evidence of past or present woodworm, comes with one non working key with tassel, wonderful dark oak patina.
