Antique Green Man Oak Bookcase Glazed Two Doors Victorian Circa 1870
Fabulous 19th century continental ‘Green Man’ bookcase or display cabinet, circa 1870, the upper section with an overhanging dentil cornice with carved floral detail above two arched glazed doors (with original antique glass) three adjustable shelves within, heavily carved pilasters with hanging fruit and masks either side, the lower section with two frieze drawers each with carved masks, over two profusely carved panel doors with two central masks, single shelf within, raised on plinth base.

This piece is offered in good antique condition, wear consistent with age and use, there are no signs of past or present woodworm, there no odours or smells, the doors and drawers all open and close smoothly, comes with one working key, there is a small crack to one of the corners of one of the glass panels, the side sections of the cornice are not present.
