Antique Gothic Green Man Oak Bookcase Victorian Glazed Circa 1870 3

Magnificent continental 19th century Oak bookcase or display cabinet in the Gothic manner dating to France circa 1870, the rectangular overhanging top with beautiful profusely carved half sunburst detail over two glazed doors with three internal adjustable shelves, fabulous heavily carved pilasters with hanging vines and fruit with mask detail to either side raised on plinth base.

This piece is in good antique condition, wear consistent with age and use, there are no signs of past or present woodworm, there are no odours or smells, the doors all open and close smoothly, comes with one non working key with tassel, wonderful dark oak patina..
