Early 19th century George III mahogany bachelor’s chest of drawers circa 1830, the rectangular top with shaped moulded edge, over three graduated drawers with hand dovetailed construction with original oval brass drop handles with lion relief, pull out unlined brushing slide, raised on shaped bracket feet.
Condition Report: The chest is in excellent condition having just been fully restored. The top is flat with no significant marks and no splits. It is of generally a good colour. All brass-work is original and present as are all of the locks and escutcheons. The drawers all open and close smoothly, there are no odours or smell. The chest is structurally sound with no evidence of any woodworm.
