A fabulous antique French Napoleon III oak marble topped commode chest of drawers, circa 1890, this chest dates to the late 19th century from the French Parisian Napoleon III period, the white with grey veined marble top over two short drawers and three long drawers with brass escutcheons to the upper drawers and turned knob drawer pulls to the lower drawers, fluted detail to the sides, raised on shaped turned bun feet, ideal for the lounge, hallway, bathroom or bedroom, a beautiful statement piece in every way.
Offered in good antique condition with age related wear, all drawers open and close smoothly, no odours or smells, no evidence of past or present woodworm, comes with one non working key with tassels, wonderful patina.
