18th Century Style Oak Refectory Table & Eight Cane Back Dining Chairs Set 3
Fabulous Antique 18th century style English Oak refectory table matched with eight caned back dining chairs, the detachable thick plank top, raised on fluted cup and cover baluster columns supports with block feet united by central stretcher paired with two carvers and six dining chairs total eight (6+2) dining chairs with floral carved cresting rail, cane backs and upholstered seats.
Please note: This set consists of one table and eight chairs, the buyer will be given the choice of receiving two addition chairs free of charge, the reason being is that one of the chairs is badly stained and we did not want to sell the set with an odd number of chairs, so if you would like to reupholster the chairs you will have a total of 10 chairs and one table.
The table and chairs are offered in good condition with only minor age related wear, the table has marks and stains to the top through years of good use, we like the patina but one could easily have the top re-polished, the chairs are all in good condition with no weakness to the joints and the seats are good with no major stains or marks, the seats could be freshened up up with a light steam clean but overall they are very good, as stated there are 2 extra free chairs if you wanted but one of the chairs is very badly stained, there are no signs of past or present woodworm and the table has a wonderful rich aged patina, the chairs are all solid to the joint and the seat covers are in excellent condition, the set comes with two free chairs.
