Pierre Jeanneret Teak Armchair, Model: PJ010803, commonly known as ‘Committee Chair’ or ‘Fauteuil En Teck’, originated from Chandigarh, India around 1953-54. These chairs showcase their iconic, tall, and graceful Jeanneret ‘Compass’ style legs, a flat profiled inverted ‘V’ shape, which also forms the armrest supports. Featuring distinctive “Roll” arm covers, each chair bears original markings on the underside of the back rail, indicating their designation. This particular chair has been expertly restored and reupholstered in premium Ivory Bouclé fabric. As with all our Pierre Jeanneret offerings, these items are accompanied by a comprehensive collection of pre-restoration images and a certificate of authenticity.
