Pierre Jeanneret Model: PJ-010201 Teak Armchairs ‘Fauteuil En Teck’ also known as ‘Cane Seat, Cane Back Office Chair’ Chandigarh India, circa 1960, the solid teak frames with seat and backrest in hand braided cane work, the ‘Asymmetric Frames’ with a double mono bloc leg assembly forming armrests to the upper sections, the legs united by two horizontal stretchers, one to the lower section and one just beneath the rear of the seat, the lightly curved backrest detached from the seat with a slight rake, both chairs with original identification markings denoting designation, come with two custom made velvet seat cushions finished in Royal Blue with Red piping, this sublime pair of chairs have been professionally restored in Chandigarh in accordance with original specification, as with all of our Pierre Jeanneret furniture these items will come with an extensive set of pre restoration images and a certificate of authenticity, reserve now.
