Antique Large Haberdashery Pine Shop Counter Circa 1870
Magnificent large and imposing antique 19th century Victorian Haberdashers Pine Shop Counter England circa 1870, the 9ft rectangular counter top with its original haberdashers brass measuring rule to the serving side, twenty graduating drawers to servers side all with original brass drop handles, the forward facing customer side of the counter perfectly fitted with four squared panels, the counter raised on a plinth base to the front and and arched bracket feet to the rear, made of solid pine throughout and of solid construction, the counter has developed the most wonderful golden aged patina from 150 years of constant use and great care, this incredible shop counter came out of the Janet Belle shop in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey, a truly fabulous piece of furniture that is not only beautiful in design but also very practical, ideal as a Kitchen island, sideboard or shop counter, reserve now.

In excellent original condition, with minor age related wear, no odours or smells, all drawers open and close smoothly, no signs of past or present woodworm, wonderful patina.
