19th Century Dutch Rosewood Bombe Commode Chest of Drawers Circa 1820
An early 19th Century Dutch simulated rosewood bombe commode, the shaped top over four drawers with brass handles, raised on scroll feet.
Condition Report: The chest is in excellent condition having just been fully restored. The top is flat with no significant marks and no splits. It is of generally a good colour.. The drawers all open and close smoothly, there are no odours or smells, the chest is structurally sound with no evidence of any past or present woodworm, there is a small loss to the top drawer escutcheon and also the top drawer is missing its lock, the key shown is non working .
